All crockery and cutlery is dishwasher proof including the plastic/bamboo items. You will find dishwasher tablets under the sink along with cloths etc for your stay. The dishwasher has an extremely high efficiency rating and, as such, we encourage guests to make use of this.
The pans are non-stick and designed so they can be used with no fat/oil if preferred.
Place pans before switching the cooking zone on.
When possible position lids firmly.
The base of the pan should be the same size as the cooking zone.
To operate the touch control sensors touch the desired panel with the tip of your pointed finger until the relevant displays illuminate or go out, or until the desired function is activated.
To switch on touch the lock sensor for 3 secs approx. The appliance is switched on using the on/off control sensor. You then need to select a heat setting within ten secs approx otherwise the appliance will switch itself off for safety reasons.

Residual heat indicator. When an individual cooking zone or the hob is turned off the presence of residual heat is shown with an H for hot. You can use this for thawing or keeping food warm.
This is to the left of the sink and provides instant boiling water.
Please take care with small children.
Always match the diameter of the stainless steel disc to the induction hob cooking zone. Using a pan with disproportionate stainless steel disc size to cooking zone may result in reduced heat output. In some cases the hob may not, “recognise”, the pan and no heat will be generated.
Handles/knobs may become hot in use. Please exercise caution when handling cookware and use oven gloves where necessary.
Always lift the pan never slide it.
Use a medium to low heat for the majority of cooking. For those times when searing is required a medium to higher heat can be used initially, but once the pan is hot and the food added, the heat should be lowered. Never use the maximum heat settings.
Never plunge a hot item of cookware into cold water or place a cold item onto a hot hob.
Do not use the boost function on induction cookers.
Do not use metal or sharp utensils as they may damage the coating.
Cool the pan before cleaning. Do not plunge into or fill with cold water when hot.
Do not use metal, abrasive or stiff washing up brushes or abrasive cleaning agents.
Suitable for dishwasher.
When, “dry frying”, pre-heat the pan on a medium setting for approximately 2 minutes before adding the food and do not allow the pan to overheat.
Do not leave food in the cookware after cooking.
To avoid white marks or pitting only add salt when the contents are simmering or cooked. Once cooled do not leave any remaining food stuffs containing salt in the cookware.
